This research brief discusses some of the issues
surrounding the current housing stresses in Alice
Springs. It draws on ABS data and work that has
been undertaken by the Territory Growth Planning
Unit, Department of Lands and Planning.
We examine changes in components of population
growth, population projections as well as
forecasted dwelling demand for Alice Springs.
