Dying With Dignity NSW

Dying with Dignity NSW is an Australian advocacy organisation and registered charity supporting voluntary assisted dying laws and other end-of-life choices for residents in New South Wales. Incorporated in 1983 as the Voluntary Euthanasia Society NSW, in 2009 the organisation changed its name to Dying With Dignity NSW. 

In May 2022 NSW Parliament passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022, coming into effect in November 2023. This made NSW the 6th Australian state to pass Voluntary Assisted Dying legislation.
