Numbulwar School

Numbulwar School is located in the community of Numbulwar in East Arnhem Land, 570km southeast of Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. 

Numbulwar School provides education services to students from early years to senior years; the senior years program is supported through the NT Open Education Centre. It had a roll of 129 in 2023.

The population of Numbulwar is approximately 1300 and can fluctuate depending on the season and ceremonial activity. Nine indigenous clan groups reside in and around Numbulwar. Wubuy is the traditional language. English is considered a third language after Kriol and Wubuy.
