The University of Adelaide (also, informally, Adelaide University) is a public research university located in Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1874, it is the third-oldest university in Australia. It had 27,357 students enrolled in 2017.
The University of Adelaide is composed of the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET); the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences; and the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics (ABLE).
