The Coalition Against Euthanasia - understood to represent organisations including the Australian Medical Association (AMA), the Right to Life Association and the Catholic, Anglican and Uniting churches - hopes to seek an injunction to prevent the Government's Rights of the Terminally Ill Act coming into force on July 1. Dr Chris Wake, president of the AMA's Northern Territory branch, who is co-ordinating the action, said: 'We have only got one shot at this and it is an extraordinarily expensive venture.'
