L J Goody Bioethics Centre

Catholic bioethicsperth (formerly the L J Goody Bioethics Centre) was founded in 1985 as an agency of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, Western Australia. 

Catholic bioethicsperth assists a number of clinical and research ethics committees in the public and private healthcare sectors. It has library, meeting and lecture facilities, and services including:

• confidential free personal or professional consultations;

• on-call personal and clinical ethics conversations;

• ethics education in tertiary level, adult education modes; and

• specialised non-lending library in bioethics and moral theology.
