Final Exit Network, Inc. (FEN)

Final Exit Network, Inc. (FEN) is an American right-to-die advocacy group incorporated under Florida law. FEN was founded in 2004 by former members of the Hemlock Society.

FEN holds that mentally competent adults facing intolerable suffering due to physical illness have a right to voluntarily end their lives. After reviews of medical records and confirmation of mental capacity, qualified applicants are directed to resources that provide guidance in how to painlessly end one's life. FEN does not encourage suicide and does not provide physical assistance. FEN's role is to serve as compassionate advisors and witnesses.
