Nicholas James McKim (11 June 1965—) is an Australian politician.
McKim was born in London, England, and emigrated to Australia with his family when he was five. He was educated at Hutchins School, Kingston High School, and Hobart College in Tasmania.
After leaving school, McKim worked various roles as an organic market gardener, shepherd, remote area mineral exploration worker, and a fruit picker. From 1995-1999 he was a wilderness guide, followed by three years in advertising and administration.
He was first elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 2002, representing Franklin for the Greens; he held the position until being elected to the federal Senate in 2015. From February 2020 until June 2022, he served as co-deputy leader of the Australian Greens.
McKim is pro-euthanasia. As leader of the Tasmanian Greens, he introduced a private member's bill, the Dying with Dignity Bill 2009; it was defeated by 15 votes to 7 in the Lower House.
