Keith Solomon
Dr Keith Solomon was involved in the Darwin Institute of Technology, as Deputy Director, Planning and Policy in 1987, Academic Board Chairman in 1988 and involved for many years with CDU and its preceding Institutions. In 1989 Keith became Assistant Vice chancellor and Director of External Relations in 1994. In this role he was responsible for Northsearch, The Overseas student office which dealt with Elicos program (English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students), and Continuing Professional Education (CCPE).
In the mid 90s Keith campaigned for the future of the struggling 8Radio TopFM, advocating "no real alternative to operating [the station] semi-commercially to reduce the debt" (Berzins et al., 1999)
