Kevin Thomas Livingston (1940-1998) came from the University of the South Pacific to set up the NT External Studies Centre at Darwin Institute of Technology in 1982. He was the Centre’s Coordinator until 1988 when he moved to a position at the (then) Capricornia Institute in Rockhampton. He went on to become Associate Professor and Head of School, Behavioural and Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Ballarat.
